Sfriso Ultimo Vino Dolce 2015

The last sweet wine from two vines that no longer exist.

Ultimo has a profound meaning for us because it represents the completion of an era, of a vineyard still planted by Pier's father 50 years ago. 2015 was the last harvest of these two grapes, hence the name Ultimo.

It means "the last."

This is a sweet wine made from Moscato Bianco and Moscato Rosa grapes that were over 40 years of age. The vines were uprooted in 2016 when we had to replant the vineyard. 

We released a very small amount of this wine in 2019 and now it's time to share it with you all. We produced only 1000 bottles!

This wine is excellent with blue cheeses, foie gras, dry pastries like biscuits, and signature chocolate. Extraordinary on its own, as a meditation wine.
